Meet Andrew, The Marketer 
Hi!, I’m Andrew Bremner, and I work in the Marketing Department at PPi. I’ve been with Plastic Prouducts international for nearly three years now, and my core responsibility is to make sure that everyone knows what PPi is up to and, more importantly, what we can do for them.
My Journey
Before joining PPi, I moved from South Africa in 2020, completed my A-Levels in Psychology, History, Core Maths and English Literature as well as began my Advertising and Digital Marketing course at university. Finding myself in a marketing role from such experience felt like a natural progression.
My Impact
A career highlight for me has been running PPi’s social media and rebranding the company. Seeing our new logo appear on company materials, clothing, and recently at the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics show was a proud moment. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see the tangible results of all that planning and hard work.
Why I Love My Job
I’m motivated by the opportunity to learn and apply new skills every day, particularly as I’m a marketing student. This role puts my studies into real-world practice, and it’s exciting to watch my knowledge evolve alongside PPi’s growth. Colleagues often describe my working style as meticulous, motivated and precise.
Company Culture
My favourite part about working at PPi is that we’re one big family. The open, supportive environment makes it easy to share ideas, tackle challenges and celebrate successes together.
Outside the Office
When I’m not busy with my marketing duties, I’m enjoying a variety of hobbies:
- Racing Go-Karts: The thrill of close racing and speed always puts a smile on my face.
- Gaming: I love immersing myself in various virtual environments as a way of escaping from day-to-day life.
- Building Model Tanks: There’s something satisfying about putting together pieces of history.
- Reading: I’m an avid reader and enjoy nothing more than sitting and reading an epic fantasy novel.
Fun Facts
One surprising fact about me is that I’ve actually driven a tank before—yes, a real one! Another is that if I weren’t in my current marketing role, you would find me working as a zookeeper for big cats since they are all just kitties at heart.
