Meet The Team 5 – Andreea
Welcome back to our fifth ‘Meet the Team’. In this edition, we meet Andreea Dragan, one of our Quality Controllers. She joined us back in July 2024 as a Mouldshop Operator, it was through her eye for detail that saw her promoted to Quality Controller. It is Andreea’s job to make sure the quality of the parts that we produce is up to the high standards we strive for.
Previous Endeavours
Before joining PPi, Andreea was a Team Production Leader at a Confectionary Manufacturer. Her role she took on there is what Andreea considers her biggest professional achievement yet. Its possibly also the place where Andreea found her affinity for eating tons of sugar!
The Workplace
The thing that motivates Andreea most about working at PPi is that it feels like working with one big family. This ties in closely with her favourite part of the company culture, being that no problem will go unsolved as everyone can put their minds to it. Andreea’s co-workers describe her as determined, motivated and hardworking. It is this work ethic that allowed Andreea to take the lead on the pad printing projects on our newly acquired Tampo pad printer. An achievement she is proud of, and rightfully so!
Outside of PPi
When Andreea isn’t busy making sure all our parts meet expectations, she can be found busying herself with a variety of hobbies:
• Andreea loves the mystery and suspense of a good crime TV show.
• With a love for exploration, Andreea is always plotting where to travel to next.
• Encompassing her adventurous spirit, Andreea really enjoys her bike riding as well.
One Last Thing
A fun fact about Andreea is that she can speak five languages! They are Spanish, Romanian, German, Italian and English! If she weren’t in her current position, she would be doing something that involves learning foreign languages.
