MEET THE TEAM – John Tagliarini, Toolmaker
Toolmaker John tagliarini has Sicilian connections( not that type!)
Born in Sicily in a small village called Acquaviva which translated means water alive due to the underground mountain springs. In 1959 at the tender age of 3 John and his family moved to England when his father gained sponsorship to work in the lea valley cucumber nurseries.
Today John makes an annual pilgrimage to Sicily where he inherited land and a small villa.
The villa is amazingly productive because apart from the numerous fruit and nut trees, John’s pride and joy is his 60 olive trees, which produce at least 100 litres of extra virgin olive oil per annum!
